Clinical Psychologist

Suzanne Hotz - M.(CLIN.PSYCH).NETHERLAND. Registered clinical psychologist and have been practicing for over twenty years. I obtained my Masters Degree in Clinical psychology at Leiden University in the Netherland, although I am South African born and bred.

I offer short and long-term therapy with adults over the age of 18. I integrate a wide range of theories. The most important is a Person-centred approach integrated with psychodynamic Self and Relational theories.

My areas of interest are mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. This includes postnatal depression, bereavement, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder and phobias. In addition, I work with people with relationship difficulties and those having to cope with serious illnesses such as cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS.
