About me

I commenced Private General Practice in Grassy Park in August 1992 having qualified in 1984 and having worked at various hospitals in Lesotho, Gauteng, KZN and Cape Town.

In Cape Town I was a Tutor/Assistant Lecturer in the Dept. of Anatomy UCT and subsequently worked as a Registrar in Surgery in the Trauma Units of GSH and Red Cross Hospital followed by a stint in the Medical Emergency Unit Groote Schuur Hospital. This was followed by a Registrarship in the Dept. of Anaesthesiology at GSH. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Procedural Sedation. During my time in General Practice I have also been working part time in the Emergency Unit at Constantiaberg Medi Clinic until recently. I currently do a session in the Out Patient Clinic, Rheumatology Department at Tygerberg Hospital. I undertook a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Pretoria which I intend completing. I completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health (UCT) and the Certificate in Travel Medicine.

Our practice offers the following services: Family Medicine, Travel Clinic (Registered with Department of Health to administer Yellow Fever vaccines), Family planning (Childhood Vaccines applied for), Occupational Health, Dive medical certifications and Sports Medicine.
