Shamiela Solomon - Qualified Occupational Therapist

Shamiela completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Stellenbosch in 2014. She then did her community service at Mitchell’s Plain Community Health Centre in the Western Cape and worked at various community health centers and private practices in Cape Town.

Shamiela has since worked within the private sector and bring with her enthusiasm and passion for helping clients with various diagnoses and conditions to overcome physical and psychosocial barriers.

She has gained vast knowledge and experience working with various clients of all ages, particularly pediatrics, neurology and vocational rehabilitation.

 She’s completed several courses including:
- Basic wheelchair seating course
- Clinical and gross motor observation assessment in Paediatrics
- Child development and behavior
- Hand rehabilitation
- Certification in Pain Management

- Hands & Upper Limb
- Neurology
- Orthopedics
- Return to Work
- IOD
